Batman and the fairy

Wynton has spent the last several years in a "hero" phase at Halloween. Two years ago he was a Fireman, last year a Policeman and now a real "Superhero"! His birthday party was Batman themed this year and he wanted to continue with that same theme for Halloween. The original plan was for the entire family to dress up along with him (Stephen-Robin, Me-Wonder Woman and Cecelia-Batgirl) but it didn't quite come together this year...maybe next.

Cecelia is our princess fairy (in so many ways)! She floats around the house waving her wand while clomping around in her dress up shoes and wings! It is a super cute sight as you can imagine. Dress up shoes wouldn't do so for walking so she is sporting her hot pink "go-go boots" to complete her costume!

Here they are getting ready to go trick-or-treating for the first time...we usually attend a fall festival at our church but this year they held it on Friday night so we were able to enjoy both! The kids LOVED ringing the doorbell at our neighborhood houses and saying "Trick or Treat"! And they got TONS of candy! So, we made a deal with them that we would let them pick 10 pieces each to have and the rest we gave them a $5 bill to put in their piggy bank! Now that is some expensive candy! At least we are saving their teeth from rotting and I am sure our dentist will thank us too!
