Wynton is growing up and his recent decision to ask Jesus in his heart has made that even more clear to us as parents. We couldn't be more proud of him for making such a big decision at such a young age. Some might ask if he really understands the decision he has made and we believe he does. He enjoys attending our church AWANA program and gets so excited about reciting his scripture verses each week. He loves to read his bible and learn all about what Jesus has to teach us.
On Easter Sunday, as he said his prayers in bed that night, he said he was ready to ask Jesus in his heart. So, Stephen and I prayed with him and over the last several months have been talking with him about what it means to ask Jesus in your heart. Wynton decided a few weeks ago he was ready to go forward in the church and profess to our pastor and congregation he had asked Jesus in his heart. You can imagine the tears of joy we had, just watching him beam about his decision!
We look forward to celebrating his baptism in the spring!
