Winter Fun...but Ready for Spring!

Well, the first signs of spring are beginning to show and are we ever HAPPY here in the Clark house! One of the coldest and snowiest winters on record here in North Carolina! The time has now changed and it will be staying lighter, longer into the evenings, allowing us to enjoy some outdoor time as a family after work...there are only so many puzzles you can work and Wii games you can play in a winter season! The kids are so eager to be outside riding their bikes (I can't believe we are finally to this age where they can both ride!) and running off some of that winter energy!

For those of you wondering, yes the house is still for sale. The new year has brought about at least 5 or 6 showings so far and we are thrilled that the activity is picking up! Stephen is still commuting to Winston Salem every day but is so ready for his commute to be shorter! We know God's plan is perfect and the right buyer will be along in HIS time! He really is teaching us patience! :) Keep praying with us and we hope to have news soon of a moving truck visiting our house!

Happy 35th Birthday Mommie!

Cecelia got her first bike for her birthday!

She is proving to be quite fast these days and LOVES to go to the park and ride!

Happy 3rd Birthday Cecelia!

She finally has enough hair for a cute bow! We can't believe how much she has grown up in the last year! Where does the time go?

Spending a warm February day at our new favorite place...

Riding bikes on the greenway! We will be enjoying this much more as the weather gets warmer!

This was our 3rd snow of the season and we were finally able to build "Frosty"!

Wynton did most of the rolling for each layer and Mommie helped with putting on the eyes out of Prunes, a cherry tomato for the nose and a orange pepper for the mouth! Pretty impressive!
You can see from the picture that it wasn't our biggest snow but it was the wettest one which helps out in building great snowmen!

This was our 2nd snow of the season and it was pretty deep!

The kids got to sled for the first time! I will post pictures of them actually sledding in my next post.

Enjoy a cold January day at Lake Norman State Park! We enjoyed a great picnic and hike!
