Oh, how I just LOVE having a girl!
Cecelia's Easter party at preschool! I helped out with her party bringing lunch in with another mom and sending the kids off on a rice krispy egg treat sugar high for the afternoon! It was so much fun and Cecelia LOVED having me there!
A fabulous Saturday spent at Davidson College! This is another favorite pictures of mine...just a sweet moment with my two "sunshines".
After our final snowfall in February we were all so happy to see the sunshine! The temperatures finally began to warm up and we have been able to break out the shorts and short sleeve shirts! We have celebrated the arrival of the warm weather by spending every moment outside that we can, for we know that summer isn't too far behind and the hot weather will be here soon!
This is one of my favorite pictures from the past month! Wynton is reading to Cecelia! Just the sweetest act of kindness! Wynton has been working hard in his preschool class on reading and is now working his way up to level 2 books. We love watching his mind grow and his imagination expand as he begins to love books as much as we do!

March began with a Girls Scrapbooking Weekend in the mountains for Mommie. This has been an annual trip for about 13 or 14 girls from church for the past few years and we have really enjoyed great food, fun and fellowship. I was able to finish about 42 pages, putting me only about 9 months behind in our family book. I love how creative I can get when I am away from day to day life here! :)
The middle of March brought about family visiting for a very special event for Wynton. He made the decision back in the fall to ask Jesus in his heart and followed that through earlier this year with letting our pastor and congregation know and now took the final step in being baptized. It was such a special event and we are so proud of him for making this decision.
As the weather began getting even warmer (almost summer-like temperatures), we headed to Davidson College one Saturday for a spring picnic. I thought the shade of the trees would be great to have lunch and for the kids to hit golf balls without hitting anyone or anything else! We had a great time and I was able to get some cute pictures of the kids too!

The EdVenture place looks great, we may check it out this summer! And wow, reading? I should have higher expectations of my kids! :) Yay Wynton!
